The headtube design is simplified to ensure that the welding surface between the neck and headtube is flat and optimized for maximum strength. It features both external and internal weight-reducing fluting and cutouts. The extrusion is 6 and 6.5 inches wide with perforations to reduce weight while still being easy to grip tape.
