The Native Ventura deck is far from just another scooter deck – it’s a consciously reimagined design where balance between feel, control, and durability takes center stage. From the start, the focus was on how it feels to ride and grind on it. The 84-degree head tube angle, the more spacious blunt zone, and the finely shaped crook groove are all designed to make crook grinds not only easier but also more stable. The slightly angled blunt plates help avoid snagging during use, while the improved concave brings the rider even closer to the deck for more direct control.
Grinding surfaces were also given serious attention. The 7075 deck ends and the new internal box end design provide a wider and flatter area, making 5.0s more efficient and consistent, utilizing the deck’s potential all the way to the wheel. Strength was another key factor – increasing the spacing between internal walls distributes impacts more effectively, while the reinforced down tube and larger weld surface at the head tube ensure longer-lasting durability.
Weight reduction wasn’t left out of the equation either. CNC-machined internal and external tapers, along with front and rear head tube cutouts, eliminate unnecessary material while maintaining structural stiffness. With three different spacer sets included, the deck fits all industry-standard wheels, and the practical self-locking deck ends require only a 6 mm Allen key. Native, an Australian rider-driven brand, once again proves it understands what the streets demand.
